Gurukul offers intensive yoga teacher training courses, enabling students to develop their own scales of self practice and development. Gurukul operates in an ashram environment which includes a dedicated space for yoga teacher training in Rishikesh itself and giving a wide range of knowledge on ancient systems of self healing and well being. About the Program

This 4 week intensive course is recognized by Yoga Alliance (USA). The aim is to provide elementary yoga education to students. Successful completion of the course will allow students to conduct yoga classes for beginners anywhere in the world. Yoga is a process of continuous learning and experiencing. Therefore, this course provides a platform for students to live, think & act in a yogic way. Also, it helps to walk on the path of happiness and profoundness. The formula of "do it and feel it" is used to teach students.

Students can implement the knowledge of yoga that they acquire at our yoga teacher training program, towards benefiting themselves and others. After the course, the participants receive their 200 hours of yoga teacher training in rishikesh . It enables them to enroll themselves as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, and conduct yoga classes at a place of their choice anywhere in the world

Participants receive their 200-hour yoga teacher training on their successful completion of the course, which allows them to enroll themselves as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT) with Yoga Alliance and conduct yoga classes at their choice.

Course contents / syllabus

The syllabus of the course was designed to achieve the above-mentioned objectives in the complete curriculum. The course is divided into four modules for four weeks and each module will be complementary to its successor. The approach of study is from beginners to advanced level. Starting with the elementary practices, the course will cover the advanced levels towards the last modules. Students will be given exposure to the yogic discipline in a conducive and positive attitude so as to prevent any misconceptions or impressions to be formed.
