Missed your period and confused if you are just late or having ones of those pregnancy symptoms? Here we are to clear away all your doubts. You might think that the earliest or maybe even the first sign of pregnancy is a missed period. But there is a lot that goes on in your body before you miss your period. There are a lot of pregnancy symptoms that your body experiences that can also seem very similar to the symptoms that you face during the premenstrual cycle.

Cramps, back pain and even light blood spotting are all signs of conception and also a premenstrual cycle. Combined with nausea, dizziness, tiredness, these symptoms can really go overboard and confuse you to the core. Early Symptoms of Pregnancy can have a huge range from missing periods, to breast changes, frequent urination, to fatigue.

Here is a list of all the major pregnancy symptoms and why these changes occur in the first and the impact they can have on your body.

The classic and most common pregnancy symptoms

1.    A missed period or no menstrual cycle

This is considered to be one of the earliest and most significant pregnancy symptoms. If one or more weeks have passed to your expected date of the cycle, we can say that there can be a possibility of you being pregnant. But nothing can be said for sure. A missed period can also be majorly a result of hormonal changes, diet changes, thyroid issues or even PCOD/PCO. In addition to this, if you are someone who normally experiences infrequent and/or irregular period cycles, then this is certainly not the criteria that you should be relying on for as a symptom for pregnancy

2.    Tender, swollen and/or sensitive breasts

One of the major pregnancy symptoms is the change in breast size, shape, and/or feel. Your nipples might also become more sensitive and have a change of color, size or shape.  Your breasts might become tender and sensitive. This is considered to be one of the early symptoms of pregnancy. This might also end up causing some discomfort at the beginning of your pregnancy. However, as you move ahead in your pregnancy months, you will gradually get used to this feeling. Your body adjusts to all these hormonal changes

3.    Feelings of nausea, morning sickness, dizziness, and tiredness

Other early symptoms of pregnancy include experiencing the feeling of nausea throughout the day. This can also occur particularly during a definitive period of the day. The feeling of vomiting accompanied by heavy-headedness is often called Morning Sickness. This is a significant symptom of pregnancy where the mother feels really dizzy, tired, and pukish in the morning period. However, that being said, it is also true that every woman experiences pregnancy in a different way and experiences hormonal, physical and emotional changes that might be different from others. Many women get used to the feeling of nausea or morning sickness as they proceed in their pregnancy

4.    A feeling of frequent urination

If the conception has occurred and you are onto a period where you are experiencing the early symptoms of pregnancy, you might find yourself urinating a lot more than you usually do. The reason for this is that while you are pregnant, the amount of blood in your body takes a rise and tends to increase. This process makes your kidneys double time, and they end up working out extra fluid that eventually takes its place in the bladder before exiting from your body. Thus, giving you a sudden urge to pee every now and then

5.    Fatigue is the new language

As we discussed in the previous pints, one of the early symptoms of pregnancy is experiences feelings of dizziness, tiredness, and nausea. The mother may also experience a number of changes along with these but fatigue is a much common symptom that occurs in almost all of the pregnant women and makes it pretty high on the list of early symptoms of pregnancy. You might feel like you are all over the place and are not able to concentrate while feeling heavy-headed, dizzy and worn out. This can be your pregnancy too!

This is what makes Fatigue the language of all pregnant women. This is one symptom that mothers-to-be experience a lot. Fatigue also counts as one of the early symptoms of pregnancy. During the initial days of your pregnancy, the level of your progesterone hormone tends to increase. This makes you feel tired, sleepy, lousy and you might feel drained of energy most of the time. This lack of energy and tiredness along with a feeling of fatigue is one of the early symptoms of pregnancy
