  • Now, wipe the bottom of the printhead thoroughly using a clean, lint-free cloth damped in warm water. It would be best if you cleaned the nozzle area until there is no more black ink sticking on the fabric. 

  • Next, soak the printhead in a bowl with warm water for at least 10 mins. Do not use the boiled water. You need to put a clean paper towel at the base and then let the printhead rest above it while soaking. Take out the printhead from the bowl and carefully wipe off any water and moisture using a dry lint-free cloth. 

  • Then you need to place the printhead on the top of the paper towel and allow it to air-dry for 15 mins. Then you need to insert the printhead back into the carriage and reinstall all the cartridges into the respective slots. Finally, turn on your printer and see if there are any changes.
