7 PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS OF OHM LAW FOR DAILY BASIS

Ohm's Law: Not all electrical components follow the ohm law, but this does not mean that the application is not restricted. There are many applications to the law of ohms and many of them are important in everyday life. Not many people realize how ohm law can be used every day or how the law begins to be used in different equipment that is used according to the daily schedule.

1- To find out the resistance of a circuit:

If the voltage of a circuit is known, and the current flowing with a specific voltage through the circuit is also measured, the resistance can easily be known using the Ohm law. In addition, if there are two quantities in a known formula, the third can be easily formulated. Circuits are usually designed to maintain current and voltage specifications in view.

Now the question is, how can knowing resistance be useful in everyday life?

Every electric device, such as an electric toaster, oven, and even speakers have a resistor. To find out the amount of current flowing, obstacles are also very important.

Also, if you have a problem with turning on the car in the morning, it might be caused by corrosion of your battery. Corrosion increases resistance in large numbers.

2- To take speed control from conventional fans:

A conventional fan is also inserted into the oven which gives warm air to heat whatever has been put into the oven. Substances to be heated are surrounded by hot air.

Control of a conventional fan can be taken via a button. The knob on the back has a potentiometer attached to it. The potentiometer functions as a variable resistor and potential divider. This is when the ohm law comes into use. For each variable obstacle, the value of voltage or current can be calculated.

3- Ohm's Law to choose a fuse:

The fuse is basically used to calculate circuital components in series. Sekring provides protection against 'from excess flows'. The current in a particular fuse can be calculated through ohm law when resistance is known. The use of fuses is spread very widely, especially when making electricity and connections are being prepared in newly built homes.

4 - To determine the size of resistors in various components:

As mentioned above, resistors are used in a number of components. From electric kettles to televisions, all involve the use of resistors. However, the resistor must be sized carefully and when we say the size of the resistor, we mean the wattage. This can be done through the help of simple ohms (the form of the law of the ohm is changed, namely: P = VI).

5- Calculation of the amount of power supplied to electric heaters:

Using Ohm's law calculator in the modified version e.g P = V (square) / R helps in calculating the amount of power supplied to the heater and specifically the heating coil in the heater. Besides that, you might think what is the use of knowing strength? Well, you can double the time you use an electric heater with power and know the approximate electricity bill.
