After a long day of work, no matter how passionate cook you are it becomes hectic to prepare a lip smacking dish for your dinner. Many of you, who stay alone, prefer ordering food from outside to deduct the effort even after knowing that it can take a ton on your health. Here are the top 10 chicken recipes listed below, which are equally tasty, easy and quick. These recipes are –

Chicken Strips:

  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • Pinch of garlic salt
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenee pepper
  • 11/2 lbs boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoon butter/margarine

Cooking Direction:

At first you need to cut the chicken in strips and then you need to put them in a poly bag. Add first sex ingredients with the chicken and tie up the bag tightly. Now, you have to shake it well that the spices get mixed with the chicken properly.

Now, take a skillet and heat it on the oven and add the butter. Let it be for eight to 10 minutes until it melts clear. Start leaving the chicken strips one by one in the heated buttery skillet and fry it well. You can add a bit of salt while you are cooking or can add it earlier. When the fry is complete add some parsley and paper for garnishing. At the end you can spread a bit of lime juice for better taste.

Cheesy Bar-B-Q Chicken:

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • ½ cup green onion
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce

Cooking direction:

Put a pan on your oven and heat it with a little butter or few drops of oil. When the pan is heated properly, put the chicken breasts on it and add the barbecue sauce. Now let it be like that for 15 to 30 minutes. You have to give it sufficient time to get cooked. So, this much time would be enough. When the chicken is cooked completely, add more sauce and spread the shredded cheese on it. Now, leave it for few minutes until the cheese melt. Mushroom & Mustard Chicken:

  • 1 boneless chicken breast halves
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 2 tablespoon veggie oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 cup sliced mushroom
  • 1 tbs Chopped parsley
  • 1 tbs mustard
  • 1 tbs lime juice
  • ½ cup cream

Cooking direction:

Cut the breasts by following ¼ inch thickness and mix the flour. Add oil on the frying pan and heat it. Now put the chicken and let it be there for 7 minutes without turning it. Take it off from the oven and now add butter to your frypan and put your oven in a high flame. Add mushroom and onion. After sautéing these two items on the pan lower the heat and add cream, mustard, parsley and lemon juice. Add some salt according to the taste. Now, keep on starring it and let it get cooked. If you have kept the chicken juice aside mix it with the cream and spread it on the chicken. Let it get cooked and the mixture to get thicker. When it is done, serve it with rice or boiled noodles.

Salsa Chicken:

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 jar salsa
  • 1 can diet coke
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Cooking direction:

Put a skillet on your oven without any oil. Add a pinch of salt and pepper and now add the chicken. The chicken might get a bit stuck over the pan but that’s fine, because it would add a special flavor to the dish. Keep on cooking it until it gets brown. Add the salsa sauce and diet coke. Now start cooking in a low flame for 20 minutes. Now, you have to put the lid on and remove after it cooked to turn the chicken. Keep on cooking until the juice takes a thick texture. When it is done, add lemon juice and serve it hot with a plate of fine rice.

  • One and a half tendered chicken breasts
  • 1 tbs Olive oil
  • 2tbs butter
  • 1 peeled and diced potato
  • 2 peeled and diced thinly sliced carrots
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 diced stalk celery
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tspn Poultry seasoning
  • 2tbs flour
  • 1 quarter chicken stock
  • 8 ounce biscuit mix
  • ½ boiled water
  • 2 tbs Parsley
  • 1 cup green pea

Cooking direction:

Give dice cut to the chicken tenders in small pieces and keep them aside. Put a pan on the stove in a tolerant flame and let it get heated. Put oil and butter, bay leafs and vegetables and let it cook for 5 minutes. Now, add some salt and season mixture along with the flour and cook it for a couple of minutes. Now, add the stock and let it boil. Put the chicken on the pan with the broth and stock mixture and now add parsley and a half cup warm water. Now close the lid tightly in medium flame and let it cook for 10 minutes. Now star it to thickness and add some green peas and dumplings before you remove the pan from the heat.

Quick Chicken Stir-Fry:

  • 1 lb chicken breast cut in to small pieces
  • 4 ounce peas
  • 4 ounce water chestnuts
  • 1/2 tspn salt
  • 1tbs corn starch
  • 1tbs veggie oil
  • 1tbs chili-tomato sauce
  • 1tspn sugar

Cooking direction:

At first, take the snow peas and let them wet in the cold water. Now, soak them in a blotting paper when they are soft alongside the chestnut. Put the chicken pieces on your pan and mix cornstarch and salt. Toss it well to coat the chicken properly. Now, put another wok on your oven and heat the oil until the smoke comes out. Now, put the chicken in the skillet and take to minutes to sauté. Drop the snow peas in the wok, along with the chestnut, chili-tomato sauce and sugar. Sauté the entire mixture of chicken and other ingredients well for 1 to 2 minutes more that the chicken can get the flavor of sauce and spices. Rice or noodles would be the best companion of this dish.

Fried Chicken:

  • 11/2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 3tbs pesto sauce
  • ¼ cup cornflake crumbs

Keep your oven for the pre-heat to 375 degree. Take a plate and put the chicken fillets on it. Brush the pesto sauce over the chicken on both the sides. Now, use the cornflakes crumbs to cover it. Use non-sticky cookie sheet to bake the chicken fillets and let it cook for 15 to 20 minutes until it’s done.

Chicken with simple pasta:

  • 16 ounce regular pasta
  • 4 boneless breast chicken halves in small pieces
  • 4tbs olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1tspn salt
  • 1tspn garlic powder
  • 1tspn dry oregano
  • 1 cup dried tomato
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese  

Cooking direction:

You can cook pasta the way you normally cook it. During the process of cooking pasta, you can put a wok on your stove and add oil, garlic cloves, garlic powder, basil, oregano salt and chicken. Let it cook till the chicken is ready. Add dried tomato and let it cook for 2 minutes. Now, mist it on the bowl of pasta and serve it with grated cheese.

Baked Pesto Chicken:

  • 4 boneless chicken breast halves
  • ½ cup cold basil pesto
  • 2 to 3 sliced plum tomatoes
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Cooking direction:

Use a heavy duty foil for baking and preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the mixture of chicken and pesto sauce at the middle of the baking sheet and bake it for 25 minutes until the chicken get cooked completely. Now, remove it when it is completely done and garnish it with tomatoes and shredded cheese. You can also serve it like this or can bake it for a couple of minutes if you want the melted stickiness of the cheese.

Mexican Grilled Chicken:

  • 4 chicken breast halves

Ingredients for Marinade:

  • ½ onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 1/2tspn oregano
  • 1tspn salt
  • 1/2tspn black pepper
  • 1tspn paprika
  • 2tbs lime juice

Cooking direction:

All the marinade ingredients need to be blended in the mixer grinder. Put the pasted marinade mixture in a zipper bag along with the chicken and shake it well. Keep it in a refrigerator for 2 hours. For a better taste, it would be good if you can keep it for 10 hours. Now, remove the mixture from the zipper bag and grill it in your oven. Keep on turning the chicken pieces for better cooking.  Serve it with bread and cheese or you can also enjoy it with gravy noodles.
