Top 5 Tips to stop binge eating

How do you stop binge eating? The secret is to replace binge eating with something else, if you want to get rid of the binge eating habit. So to stop binge eating, you should stop eating sweets and carbs, and start eating more fiber. You should also plan your meals, seek help from a health coach, workout every week, and (especially important) don’t buy sweets.

You’ve heard about eating more fiber to lose weight. But what about eating more fiber to stop binge eating? Eating more fiber can help you be satisfied, so you don’t feel hungry and eat more. In other words, eating more fiber can help you lose weight and stop binge eating.

Here are five steps you can take to stop binge eating.

STEP 1. SEEK HELP FROM A HEALTH COACH

A health coach can help you figure out what to eat, how to exercise, and how to lose the weight you want to lose. Keep up on your weight loss goals by talking to someone who is more familiar with diets and exercise than you. You should always be comfortable giving advice, because it’s the right thing – no matter what diet or activity feels good at the time.If you are someone who has never made food plans before and therefore may not know how to plan for an extended period of time without being in danger or having any significant negative consequences later on. Try to find a health coach who is specialized to work with those who struggle with overeating, like Amy Dambrosio, a nutritional health coach.

STEP 2. EAT MORE FIBER

Eating more fiber means that you should replace fast carbs (like white bread, white rice, and white pasta) with slow carbs (like whole grains, fruits, and vegetables).

Fiber helps control your appetite by keeping you feeling fuller longer than fast carbs. It also gives you energy. Fiber is one of the reasons why whole grains are better for you than refined grains.

STEP 3. PLAN YOUR MEALS

Don’t eat just when you’re hungry. Figure out what time of day you get hungry, and go to the kitchen when you know you’ll feel hungry. Food will taste better if you’re looking forward to eating it.

STEP 4. WORKOUT EVERY WEEK

Don’t know what type of exercise to do? Get some exercise ideas from my article on this topic: How to Get Motivated to Exercise.

It’s really important to get a workout every week. Exercise is one of the best ways to stop binge eating. And if you don’t feel like exercising, these tricks can help:

Do something. If you don’t have time to exercise, do something, anywhere. Park your car farther away from where you’re going, take the stairs, or do a few jumping jacks. Any movement counts. It’s better than nothing.

STEP 5. DON’T BUY SWEETS

Keep sweets out of your house. Go to a store and buy some fresh fruit. Make sure to buy something that you like. If you’re trying to lose weight, go for an apple or an orange instead of a sweet banana.
