So Should I train an empty stomach?

Yes, you can train an empty stomach but only if you already have a fast metabolism and you are not looking for weight loss or physical appearance improvement (muscle mass). I know maybe you are thinking, it is not right, but yes look in the research and ask any experienced fitness coach. They will tell you exactly the same. Why? Because studies and experience tell us, people lose a few pounds too quickly at the beginning of their empty stomach workout. But after a few weeks, their weight stuck or most of them start gaining back again. It happens with so many people or maybe it already happened with you. So better avoid working out on an empty stomach.

How long should I eat before a workout?

Yes, it is a really great question and most of us do big mistakes here, because most of us eat too much and feel bloated during the workout, like vomiting. So my personal recommendation is always to eat a light meal before one and half hour of your workout, timing depends on your food glycemic index (means how fast raise your blood sugar and digest) and quantity. If the meal is light and fast digestible then surely you can start working out one hour after your meal.

And what should I eat before a workout?

It is a really common question and asked by hundreds of people every day. But the answer is a bit tricky, why is that because we all have a different fitness goal in mind. If someone looking for fat loss then he must have protein, carbs, and good fat ratio in his before workout meal, feeling no strength during the workout then you must have good fast and slow digestible carbs in your before workout meal.

The quantity depends on your digestibility. Looking for fast weight loss then you must have more protein source food and fewer carbs source food before a workout. I know maybe you are thinking after reading this still I am not clear, what I should eat before my workout. That's why I said in the beginning, the answer is tricky. You must have some experiments with food before the workout and find out what works best for you. I hope this helps.

Yes, I do understand that if you do not know about nutrition then it will be really hard for you to decide what food types; you can have it before your workout. So I will give you few good healthy balanced meal plan examples here. You can choose from them according to your likes and dislikes means if you are vegetarian and surely you will not eat non-veg. So here below are a few examples of you’re before workout meal.

1. Blueberries Oatmeal

Blueberries oatmeal is my favorite before workout meal because it provides all the important nutrients for our body. It is also called a balanced meal, as it contains fibers, proteins, and fats. I like to have blueberries because it is my favorite but you can add any fruit in oatmeal and get the benefits.

2. White Eggs Omelet with Fruits

White eggs omelet with fruits is also another great choice for non-vegetarian people. You also can add one cup of green tea with it for more benefits.

White eggs are a great source of protein and you can use extra virgin olive oil or coconut oil or any your favorite cooking oil, which should have more unsaturated fat rather than saturated fat and yes most of the oils, these days, in the market are heart-healthy and high in unsaturated fat. But you must check the label before buying it. When we make omelet then surely we should use good oil.
